Welcome to my Website. PhotoVisionProject is a personal exploration of the art of photography. I am a philosopher, traveler and photographer based in Hamburg, Germany. I undertand photography not as a technique to duplicate reality but as a creative process of investigation, exploration and visualisation of people and things in their cultural surroundings. My main interests includes Portraits, Aritsts at work, Urban exploration and travel. Occationaly I am doing some commercial work. Recently I have switched back to film photography.

*Stalker - a guide to the dangerous derelict zones which are typically restricted to the general public. STALKER is also the title of a 1979 film by the famous russian filmmaker Andrej Tarkowskij.

Hier geht es zu meinem Photo Diary oder Photo-Blog. Es handelt sich um ein Foto-Tagebuch, also eine heterogene Ansammlung von Bilder, die wenig miteinander zu tun haben. Hier findet man Skizzen, Proben, Experimente, spontane oder gezielte Versuche, Aufnahmen, Nachbearbeitungen und Interpretationen. Das Foto-Tagebuch ist auch eine Dokumentation meiner persöhlichen Entwicklung als Photograph, ein Wechelspiel von Motiven, Technicken, Kompositionen und Interpretationen.

Dichtung, Philosophie und Gestaltung
Während der Jahre 1995 bis 1999 sind ca. 30 Bänder aus den Bereichen Dichtung, Philosophie und Literatur erschienen. Ein besonderer Schwerpunkt lag bei der typografischen Gestaltung. Hier sind exemplarisch einige Titel abgebildet.

Die Werkzeuge für die Gestaltung dieser Bücher waren die Schriften von Jan Tschichold ( Akademie für graphische Künste und Buchgewerbe, Leipzig ) und das legendere TeX-System von Donald E. Knuth.
